Project Description:   A combination of collecting new data and using existing data

Additional Comments:   The project is a partnership between MDEQ, MEMA, and FEMA to create new digital flood insurance rate maps (DFIRMs) for every county in Mississippi by 2010. The program incorporates mapping needs assessment, project scoping, map production, and quality control for the entire state.
